What options do I have for my account?
To transfer to Millennium Trust, you don’t have to do anything. Your account will be automatically transferred here on January 1, 2019. If you would like to move your account elsewhere, please refer to the letters you received from your previos custodian and us with complete instructions.
Will my log in instructions be the same as my log in with Total IRA and IRA Solutions once it rolls over to Millennium Trust Company?
No, they will not be the same. Once your account is transferred to Millennium Trust, you will access your account at MTOnline instead of logging in at www.theiracenter.com. Through MTOnline you can view account activity, access statements and use the self-directed trading tool. Instructions for access will be communicated to you once your new Millennium Trust account is established in January 2019.
Will my account number be the same with Millennium Trust Company?
Your current IRA account numbers will the same except a “W” will be added to the beginning of the account number (e.g. W1238947).
Will all of my prior account history be transferred over
No, you will receive your final statement for calendar year 2018 from the IRA Center in January 2019. Millennium Trust will provide IRA owners with an annual account statement for calendar year 2019 and thereafter that includes account balance, holdings and all activity for each year.
While you will no longer have access to quarterly account statements, you will be able to access your account balance online or by contacting Millennium Trust client service at any time throughout the year.
PLEASE NOTE: Upon establishment of your account at Millennium Trust on January 1, 2019, you will no longer have access to your prior calendar year account statements or other account information at www.theiracenter.com. We highly recommend you download or otherwise save any information that you may want to retain from www.theiracenter.com prior to January 1, 2019.
Do I have to do new paperwork for beneficiaries, RMDs or recurring distributions?
Yes. After your account moves to Millennium this can be done be online or via paper after taking control of your account. Instructions will be referenced in the Millennium Trust Welcome Letter.
