Millennium Trust Participates in Georgetown Center for Retirement Initiatives Webinar on COVID-19 and Retirement Savings
This May, Millennium Trust’s Kevin Boyles, VP of Workplace Savings Solutions, participated in the “COVID-19 & Retirement Savings: The Case for Protecting and Expanding Access and Participation” webinar hosted by the Georgetown Center for Retirement Initiatives.
As the title suggests, the two main hurdles for workers in America today involve: access and participation. The webinar features experts from Ascensus, Oregon Savings Network, Groom Law Group and Capital Group, and covers topics that were at the forefront for the retirement industry before coronavirus and will be even more critical in the post-pandemic world.
Prior to the coronavirus pandemic, roughly 55 million Americans lacked access to retirement savings options in the workplace. How will access change as the workforce is re-distributed? How can retirement providers help millions of Americans with their saving attitudes and behaviors going forward?
Hear Kevin Boyles and other industry experts discuss the effects on the gig economy and small businesses, generational implications on saving, disparities in socioeconomic status and more by clicking here.
