Health Savings Accounts: The Continuing Evolution
  • The Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement and Modernization Act of 2003 contains provisions that amended the IRS Code to allow vehicles called health savings accounts, or HSAs, for virtually anyone who has coverage under a high-deductible health plan. The rules governing HSAs continue to evolve to benefit the consumer.
